Wedding photography dates back as far as the mid 1800s, which is right around the time the camera was initially invented. Throughout the years a few different styles have been developed and followed by wedding photographers. Some of these styles were because of the technology available.

I have personally been doing wedding photography as a side job while still in school since the beginning of the summer of 2009. I got one single job and from there got an internship with a company in the area and through different contacts got three other weddings to do on the side myself. This is a very competitive business, but once you have developed a network, one can become quite successful in it.
